Emergency First Aid & CPR Training

Red Cross Essential First Aid & CPR Training

This dynamic, hands-on training session provides foundational First Aid & CPR techniques aimed at those seeking a comprehensive understanding for use in both workplace and domestic settings. The course is designed to equip individuals with the skills to identify, prevent, and manage cardiovascular emergencies in adults, along with techniques to address choking, respiratory emergencies, and strategies for minimizing disease transmission.

A key component of the course is the training and certification in the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), enhancing the participants' readiness to respond to sudden cardiac events.

The curriculum is adaptable, allowing for integration with CPR Level A or C, catering to a range of needs and ensuring a broad understanding of life-saving procedures. With a foundation in the First Aid & CPR Guidelines 2011, this course is endorsed by the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board (WSIB) and aligns with Ontario Health & Safety (OHS) standards for Basic First Aid. This training is ideal for teenagers and high-school students.

COURSE DURATION: 8 HOURS IN-CLASS

This course emphasizes the importance of quick, confident action in emergency scenarios and offers insights into the latest techniques and practices in the field of emergency response.

Participants will leave the course not only with a solid foundation in basic first aid and CPR but also with the confidence to apply these critical skills when they are most needed.
